Your recovery is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your loved ones, so choosing the right drug rehab facility for you is imperative. Business executives, professionals, and older adults all over the country are looking for a recovery program that meets them where they are–to address the unique needs that people in this stage of life have. Centered Recovery is more than an addiction treatment center.
We are a mindfulness-based Non-12 step drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that provides substance abuse treatment & outpatient drug rehab treatment in the North Metro Atlanta area for people who want something different, something more than a traditional recovery program can offer. We understand our clients want a meaningful education and don’t need sober babysitting or time-filling classes to help them stay sober.
Our intensive outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation centers programs serve clients in metro Atlanta, Alpharetta, Roswell, Milton, Kennesaw, and Marietta are based on cutting edge science of mindfulness and Interpersonal Neurobiology to help our clients understand themselves and how to be free from addictions and unhealthy habits that hold them back. From our insightful facilitators to our highly-skilled therapists, our goal is to help each client become their healthiest self–where sobriety and good mental health is a natural byproduct.
Mental Health Treatment
The Mindfulness-based Program here at Centered Recovery is beneficial for those struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, and burnout. If left untreated, these mental health issues can lead to substance or alcohol abuse. We offer an Intensive Education program that works to treat the root of these issues and provide proactive mental health strategies.
If you are already in therapy, we understand you may feel more comfortable with your current therapist. We don’t want to do anything to affect your comfort, which is why our Intensive Education program can be done while working with your current therapist. We also provide individual counseling sessions to work through issues one-on-one if you prefer the assistance.
Our Levels of Care
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our PHP is the highest level of care we have at our drug rehab facility in Atlanta. Don’t be deterred by ‘hospitalization,’ as this is still an outpatient level of care. It works by requiring clients to spend 30 hours a week in intensive group recovery programming and individual therapy with a licensed clinician. These can be completed during our normal hours of 9 AM – 4 PM. However, it’s also possible to complete some hours during our evening sessions.
We recommend PHP for those who have recently completed a detox or inpatient treatment program. Clients can do the PHP for 1-12 weeks, depending on their insurance, mental health needs, scheduling conflicts, and budget. There are weekly medical check-ins as well as random urinalysis/drug screenings to ensure clients are sticking to the program.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our IOP is a little less intensive than the PHP, and includes 3-5 days of intensive group programming (9-15 hours per week) and at least one hour of therapy per week. This treatment comes with the same check-in and testing guidelines as outlined in the PHP.
Outpatient Program (OP)
Our standard OP is the lowest level of outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation offered at Centered Recovery. This includes 1-2 days of 90-minute group sessions each week with an additional 1-2 one-hour therapy sessions. Even if this is the only level of care available to you at the moment, it is best practice to be involved in some sort of addiction recovery with a licensed professional. It is also recommended for those on the tail-end of their treatment but are still looking to maintain their sobriety with clinical care. Our addiction treatment center in Atlanta is here to help you return to a new normal. While clients in this level of care are encouraged to live at home, we offer a safe space for them to continue working through their recovery.
Educational Program (EDU)
This level does not include clinical care. Clients can participate in our group sessions in a way that fits their schedule without any hour requirements. Choose between all 13 of our groups each week for 12 weeks, attend one group per week, or purchase our group passes, which can be used anytime within a 6-month period. This is our most flexible option for those not at a high-risk level of treatment necessity. Please contact us to learn more about our EDU tier.
